From national events in Singapore to international commercials, musicals, community cultural programs, and television dramas,
Ryna Smile is a Japanese multi-artist who continues to be chosen for diverse stages with her captivating voice and expressive power.

Based in Singapore for over 14 years, Ryna has built an international career as a singer-songwriter, actress, and vocal coach, spanning Asia to Europe.

She made her nationwide CD debut in 2006 with the ending theme “Yuki no Kakera” for the anime The Prince of Tennis. Since then, she has released numerous works, including the mini-album Seal of Love and the charity song Takoyaki no Uta. All her songs are available on karaoke platforms such as JOYSOUND and DAM in Japan.

In 2013, she founded Angel’s Voice Music School, where she has trained over 3,900 students and conducted more than 15,000 voice lessons. Her unique anatomy-based method has produced lead cast members for major productions such as Billy Elliot (Japan) and Frozen (Singapore).

In advertising and film, her work includes McDonald’s “Ebi Burger” commercials (as singer and narrator), Adidas (mother role), Lion Corporation (scientist role), and an international pharmaceutical TV commercial filmed in South Africa.

On stage, she has appeared in the musical The Wizard of Oz (Mrs. Mayor, English) and the Japanese classic Sonezaki Shinju (Oharu), gaining recognition for her acting skills in both Japanese and English.

Furthermore, her role as Yuki in the TV drama Haranishi Zubaidah (scheduled to air in Singapore and Malaysia in 2026) has marked a new turning point in her acting career, drawing significant attention from audiences and industry professionals alike. 
 
Beyond the arts, she has been a cultural representative at major national events such as the Singapore National Day Parade, the Chingay Parade, and the Emperor’s Birthday Celebration hosted by the Embassy of Japan. She is also active in community cultural programs, including the Japanese Association’s Summer Festival. Serving as a bridge between international stages and local communities, she continues to embody cultural exchange through her work. 
Today, she continues to release original music, perform live, and provide education worldwide, striving to create a society that nurtures the “resonance of love and happiness” through music and expression.
